Patricia Young is Appelrouth, Farah & Co., P.A.’s Litigation and Valuation Manager. Ms. Young, who is a Certified Legal Assistant and a Certified Fraud Examiner, supervises accounting and administrative employees for civil and commercial litigation matters including forensic and fraud investigations.
Ms. Young works primarily in litigation support services for family law matters, including the analysis of financial, accounting and tax aspects of marital dissolutions. Her detailed analysis contributes to the expert witness testimony provided by our principals. Ms. Young’s work in analyzing, compiling and producing documents also provides key information to attorneys and the firm’s clients, which prepares them for hearings and mediations. Ms. Young works closely with attorneys in our Miami, Ft. Myers, and Key West offices.
A native Floridian, Ms. Young earned a Master of Business Administration from Florida International University in 1983 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Florida International University (FIU) in 1978. She believes strongly in continuous education and attends classes at FIU every semester. She is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, The National Association of Legal Assistants, and an affiliate member of the Family Law section of the Florida Bar.

Know your financial situation. Many people don’t have a good understanding of their financial situation and are at a big disadvantage.
Activities of Interest:
Ms. Young supports fundraising efforts for breast cancer research through organizations like the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation. She coordinated Appelrouth, Farah & Co., P.A.’s team participation in the Race for the Cure, and is involved in “Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Miami.” Ms. Young also enjoys traveling to the California wine country.
