Patricia Young is a Senior Litigation and Valuation Manager. Patricia, who is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, a Certified Fraud Examiner, and a Certified Family Mediator, supervises accounting and administrative employees for family, civil and commercial litigation matters.
Patricia works primarily in litigation support services for family law matters, including the analysis of financial, accounting and tax aspects of marital dissolutions. Her detailed analysis contributes to the expert witness testimony provided by our team members. Patricia’s work in analyzing, compiling and producing documents also provides key information to attorneys and the firm’s clients, which prepares them for hearings, mediations and trial. Patricia works closely with attorneys in our Miami-Dade, Broward, South West Florida and Monroe County offices.
Patricia is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA) designated by The Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts, a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator (CFM), and a Certified Paralegal (CP). She is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, The National Association of Legal Assistants, and an affiliate member of the Family Law section of the Florida Bar. Patricia is the Treasurer of the Collaborative Family Law Institute and Treasurer of the First Family Law American Inn of Court.
A native Floridian, Patricia earned a Master of Business Administration from Florida International University in 1983 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Florida International University in 1978.

Activities of Interest:
Patricia supports fundraising efforts for breast cancer research through organizations like the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation, and coordinates Appelrouth, Farah & Co., P.A.’s team participation in the Race for the Cure. Patricia also enjoys traveling and running half marathons.
